To enter the Instant messages menu while still offline, press Menu > Messages > Instant messages. Activate a service and then
select:

Select one of the available sets. If necessary, key in the User ID: and Password: When the phone has successfully connected, Logged in is displayed.

To disconnect from the service, select Logout

	To set the phone to automatically connect to the instant messaging service when you enter the Instant messages menu, connect to the service, select My settings > Automatic login > On IM start-up.
