With Push to talk you can chat with colleagues, friends, and family with just one key press!

Push to talk is a one-way communication function in a mobile phone, which lets one user at a time talk to another user or a selected user group.

Push to talk is activated by pressing the push to talk key or equivalent on the phone. In a user group, the turns to speak are requested by pressing the push to talk key and granted on a first come, first served basis.

How to use Push to Talk

  1. Hold the phone in front of you.
  2. Press the PTT key on the right side of your phone, wait for the start tone and start to talk. You need to press the PTT key the entire time you are talking.
  3. Speak towards the microphone and do not cover the loudspeaker with your hands.
  4. When you have finished talking, release the PTT key and you will hear an end tone.
  5. Do not press the PTT key while another person is talking. Only one person at a time can talk. If you try to press the PTT key while another party is talking, you will hear a queuing tone.
