| Get rid of old Calendar notes!
Select Calendar and Options. In the Auto-delete option you can set the phone to delete old notes automatically after a specified time. However, the repeat notes, for example, birthday notes, will not be deleted. Infrared transfer You can send or receive data such as business cards and calendar notes to or from a compatible phone or data device (for example, a computer) via the IR port of your phone. Profiles Your phone has various setting groups, profiles, for which you can customize the phone tones for different events and environments. Initially, personalize the profiles to your own liking and then you only need to activate a profile to use it. Available profiles are General, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor, and Pager. To set the profile to be active for a certain amount of time up to 24 hours, select Timed and set the end time. When the time set for the profile expires, the previous profile that was not timed, becomes active. This is practical for example when you have a two-hour meeting. Clear that cache! If you travel a lot between different time zones, the automatic update of time settings to your phone may be a practical solution. Select Auto-update of date & time (network service) and On to set the phone to automatically update the time and date according to the current time zone. To set the phone to ask for a confirmation before the update, select Confirm first. The automatic update of the date and time does not change the time that you have set for the alarm clock, calendar or the alarm notes. They are in local time. Updating may cause some alarms that you have set to expire. For information on availability, contact your network operator or service provider. |
