Settings
Your phone is for getting connected, and in order to get connected you need some settings.

One convenient way of setting up is by using an OTA service. This means that the settings are sent directly to your phone over-the-air, as an SMS message. You just need to save and activate the received settings.

Some settings may not be obtainable from your operator. In that case, we provide you with step-by-step instructions. Select a topic from the menu on the left to see how.

We have also included the settings for Contacts and the message settings. These settings will help you customize your Nokia 6220 to meet your preferences.

For added security and call restrictions, see the security settings.

Restore factory settings
To reset some of the menu settings to their original values, select Restore factory settings under the Settings menu. Key in the security code and press OK. Note that the data you have keyed in or downloaded, like the names and phone numbers saved in Contacts, are not deleted.

To make your life easier, the Nokia web site offers you a tool for receiving the settings from your own operator - see nokia.com/phonesettings
