Ringing Tones
There are 20 pre-set polyphonic ringing tones in the Gallery of your Nokia 6220 phone. If you want to build a collection of your own, you can remove any of these and replace them with your favorites.

To set the ringing tone, press Menu, and select Settings and then Tone settings. You can find the same settings in the Profiles menu. Select Ringing tone for incoming voice calls. To select ringing tones that have been saved in the Gallery, select Open gallery from the ringing tone list.
Note that the settings you make will change the settings in the active profile.

You can get new ringing tones:
  • by downloading them via WAP from a service
  • as an OTA message, usually from a service provider's web site
  • as a transfer from one phone to another via infrared
  • from a file on a compatible PC, using the Nokia Sound Converter in PC Suite
  • from your own recordings
Downloading
To download more tones to your phone:
  • Press Menu, and select Services and Download links.
  • Select Tone downloads.

Tip
Does your friend have a ringing tone that you'd like to have? Tones can also be sent via infrared from a compatible phone to another - and it is cost-free. Save the tone in the Gallery.
