| Nokia PC Synchronization |
For PC Sync, you also need a compatible PC Personal Information Manager application. You can synchronize your Nokia 6220 with the following PC PIM applications:
To do this: 1. Connect your Nokia 6220 to a compatible PC via infrared or cable and open the Nokia PC Sync application. 2. Click the Properties button. 3. Select the PC application you want to synchronize with (the one that you use for your calendar and contacts information) and click Next. 4. Select the data that you wish to synchronize (Calendar, Contacts, To-do items and notes). Then click Next. 5. The next page will depend upon which PC application you selected in step 3. This page asks you to specify where the data your phone will be synchronized with is located on the PC. When you are ready, click Next. 6. The next page will set the synchronization range (how far into the past and future entries are synchronized) for calendar and to-do items. This item is available only if you choose to synchronize either calendar or to-do items in step 4. When you are ready, click Next. 7. The next page will ask you what level of contact detail you wish to synchronize. This item is available only if you choose to synchronize contacts in step 4. When you are ready, click Next. 8. On the final page you can click the Advanced button. This will give you access to the following options:
To run the synchronization, click the Synchronize now button in the Nokia PC Synch window. |
