You can also download and install the modem *.inf files separately. You can download the modem *.inf files from www.nokia.com/support/phones/6220. There are separate files for each connection method.

Note: If you do not want to use AT commands, you must have Nokia Modem Options installed to manage the speed and settings of the modem before you can use your phone as a modem. You can install Nokia Modem Options through PC Suite installation.

It is recommended that you first copy the *.inf files to the folder Windows\inf (the exact folder name may vary a bit depending on the OS) to ensure that the OS finds these files.

    3. In the list under modems, you should see the Standard modem over ……. Select this, right click with your mouse and select Properties.
    4. Go to the Driver tab of the Properties dialog and select Update driver. (In Win XP select Don't search. I will choose the driver to install. Note: Driver must be in the Windows inf folder (e.g. Windows\inf)
    5. A hardware wizard opens. Click Next and then select Search for a suitable driver (or install from a list of specific location in Win XP).
    6. Select Specify location and then Browse for the location where you stored the *.inf file.
