Traditional SMS messages, multimedia messages
or e-mail messages - choose the one that best suits your preferences at
the moment. The handy SMS message templates may sometimes be the quickest
and most convenient way to communicate, whereas multimedia messages are
the way to go when a picture is worth more than a thousand words.
The Nokia 6220 phone enables you also to send and receive e-mail messages directly from your phone.
Before you can send and retrieve any e-mail messages, you may need to do the following:
- You need an active e-mail account and e-mail service settings. For the availability of your e-mail account and e-mail service settings, contact your e-mail service provider.
- Activate the e-mail service settings that you have obtained from your network operator or e-mail service provider. To activate the settings, press Menu and select Messages, E-mail and Connect via.
- To set the e-mail settings on your phone, press Menu and select Messages, E-mail, Open and Settings. See E-mail settings.
