The presence service provides
you with a convenient and simple way of sharing
your availability with colleagues, family, or friends.
The presence status includes your availability,
status message, and personal logo. Other users who
have access to the service and who request your
information are able to see your status.
Presence can be used to show your colleagues that
you're at a meeting and do not want to be disturbed.
Or that you're driving your car and are available
by voice contact only because you cannot respond
to a text message.
To establish presence settings, press Menu,
select Settings,
and Connect. settings.
You then select from the following options.
Configuration.
Only the configurations that support presence
service are shown. Select a service provider,
Default,
or Personal config.
for presence service.
Account
and select a presence service account contained
in the active configuration settings.
User
ID to key in your user ID received from
the service provider.
Password
to key in the password received from the service
provider
NOTE
A connection set is a collection
of settings required to make a connection to the
chat and presence services.
