Making Backups
One of the most important tasks that you can perform with the Nokia PC Suite is making a backup of information that you have stored on your phone (phonebook information, calendar and other file types) to save in a compatible PC
If you have made a backup and then you lose or damage your phone, you have a copy of this information; you can then restore it to your repaired or new phone. It is especially important to make a backup before you send your phone in for servicing or maintenance work.
Backing up information
- Connect your phone to a compatible PC either via Bluetooth or via infrared.
- Open the PC Suite for Nokia 3660
- Click Backup/Restore on the application bar.
- Click Backup. The backup process begins.
You can see the status of the backup process on the status bar.
