
Tips for Phone Features
Diverting a call to a voice mailbox
If the Divert if busy function is activated to divert
the calls, for example to your voice mailbox, rejecting an incoming
call will also divert the call. You’ll find call diverting from
Settings > Call settings > Call divert.
Contacts
- The flexible phone book memory supports multiple number entries
per name.
- The Nokia 3200 phone has a built in phonebook adding convenient
features to the conventional SIM memory including seamless integration
with applications requiring either name or numbers: Phonebook
view can be either phone memory, SIM memory or both at the same
time.
Fetch service: It is possible to retrieve phone numbers from
memory when
- Sending an SMS
- Making a call reminder in Calendar
- Storing Message Center numbers
- Storing Voice Mailbox numbers
- Activating Call Divert to 'other number'
Currency conversion
You can also make currency conversions in standby mode. Enter
the amount to be converted, press Options and
select In domestic or In foreign.
Sending a business card
You can easily send a business card to another Nokia phone. Select
the business card you want to send and press Details.
Press Options and select Send bus. card >
Via text message. Then enter the recipient’s phone number
and select OK.
Setting up speed dials
If you want to assign a number to one of the speed dial keys,
select Contacts > Speed dials. You may assign a contact's
phone number to keys
to . Key
is reserved
for the voice mailbox.
Keyguard
There's an automatic keyguard in your Nokia 3200 phone. To activate the
automatic keyguard, go to Settings > Phone settings > Automatic
keyguard. You may also set the delay on when the keyguard activates.
Lock code
You can set a lock code to your phone to prevent unauthorized
use of your phone. Select Tools > Settings > Security settings
> Phone and SIM. The lock code contains five digits and the
default setting is "12345".
Voice recorder
The Nokia 3200 phone offers support for recording AMR audio clips of up
to one minute, which are also assignable as ringing tones.

- The Nokia 3200 phone supports the AMR audio format.
Call summary features
You can set your Nokia 3200 phone to show the duration of the phone call after you have ended the call.
This is a very handy tool if you need to control your phone bills, for example.
Please remember, that this feature can be used for this purpose, but the feature itself does not control the costs.
Go to Settings > Call settings > Summary after call and select On.
Making a currency conversion features
To save the exchange rate: Press Options, and
select Exchange rate. Select Foreign unit in domestic
units or Domestic unit in foreign units, and key
in the value (press
for a decimal point).
To make the conversion: key in the currency amount to be converted,
press Options, and select In domestic
or In foreign.

Tips for Keyboard
Voice Mailbox
In standby mode, pressing and holding
calls your voice mailbox. When calling for the first time, the
phone will ask for the voice mailbox number.
Quick save
In standby mode, enter the phone number. Press Options,
and select Save. Enter the name, press OK
and Done.
Quickly to Calendar
To quickly open the Calendar application, press in
standby mode.
Accessing Contacts quickly
To quickly find a name and phone number, press or
in standby
mode. Enter the first letter(s) of the name, and/or scroll to
the name you want.
Navigating in Calendar
To scroll in the notes list through the notes day-by-day, press
or .
To scroll through the day notes in the note view note-by-note,
press or
.
Changing between Profiles
To change the profile quickly in standby mode, press the power
key ,
scroll to the profile you want to activate and press Select.
Calling back
When a note about missed calls is being displayed, press List
to access the list of phone numbers. Scroll to the number you
would like to call back and press .
Accessing WAP
To quickly make an EGPRS connection, press and hold down the
key on the keypad.
Adjusting Volume
If you want to adjust the volume during your phone conversation,
press or
.
Accessing Message
To quickly open the Create message menu, press in
standby mode.
Changing between lines
In standby mode you can switch from one line to the other by
pressing and holding .
Flashlight
Press and hold
to turn on the flashlight. To turn off the flashlight, press
again.
Locking the keypad
In standby mode, press Menu and then
within 1.5 seconds.
Unlocking the Keypad
Press Unlock and then
within 1.5 seconds.
Version number of software
Enter *#0000# to your Nokia 3200 phone to get the version number
of the device’s software.
