WAP and GPRS settings
The easiest way to set up your Nokia 3120 phone for mobile browsing is to receive the settings to your phone in a smart message, Over the Air (OTA). You just need to save and activate the received settings. Go to http://www.nokia.com/phonesettings to learn more.
In some cases you may need to configure the settings manually. Follow the instructions below. For more information and the appropriate settings, contact your network operator or service provider that offers the service. The settings may be available on their web site, for example.
Keying in the service settings manually
- In the Services menu, select Settings, Connection settings and Active service settings.
- Scroll to the connection set you want to activate and press Activate. A connection set is a collection of settings needed to make a connection to a service.
- Select Edit active service settings.
- Select the settings one by one and key in all the required settings according to the information you have received from your service provider. Note that some of the settings depend on the Bearer settings menu.
