Downloading new content
You may be able to download new content (for example, images and ringing tones) and Java applications from Internet sites into the phone (network service). Check the Using your Phone/Personalizing section.
Adding new tones to your phone
For availability of tones via the text messaging (SMS), multimedia messaging (MMS) or browser service, contact your network operator or service provider. The tones are saved in the Gallery menu. Go to http://www.nokia.com/shop/ to get new ringing tones for your Nokia 3120. You can save the ringing tone in the Gallery > Tones folder.
Changing the language
You can change the language for the display text in your phone. Go to Settings > Phone settings > Phone language.
Downloadable polyphonic tones
You can download ringing tones from the web. If you download a sound, it will appear on Gallery > Tones folder.
A wallpaper from a compatible PC to the phone
Transfer a picture from a compatible PC to your Nokia 3120 phone for use as a wallpaper with PC Suite. To insert the new wallpaper, select Settings > Display settings > Wallpaper > Select Image. Search the image from Gallery application and select Set as wallpaper.
Personal shortcuts
You can assign the function of the right selection key shown in standby mode and the functions ('personal shortcuts') that can be accessed by pressing Go to in standby mode or by entering the Go to menu.
To set an image as the wallpaper
To select the wallpaper image for the first time or to change the image, select Select wallpaper. Scroll to the folder you want, press Open and scroll to the desired image. Press Options and select Set as wallpaper.
