Press Menu, and select Settings, Time settings and select:
- Clock to set the phone to show the current time in standby mode, adjust the time, and select the 12-hour or 24-hour time format.
- Date setting to set the correct date.
- Auto update of date & time to update the clock in your phone in accordance with the current time zone (network
service). Note that the functions related to time (for example, alarm clock)
will be affected if you use this service.

If the battery is removed from the phone or if it has been drained for a long period, you may need to set the time and date again.
