Listen to your favorite radio channel with your Nokia 2300 phone.
Turn on the radio
- Connect the headset to the phone.
- Press Menu and select Radio. The display shows
- Channel location number and the name of the radio channel.
- Frequency of the radio channel.
Tune the radio channels
When the radio is activated for the first time, the phone turns on the FM radio to the default frequency 87.50 MHz.
After that, the phone activates the last active channel.
- Press Options and Select Auto-tuning to start the channel search.
- Press
or briefly to search upwards or downwards.
- The search stops when a channel has been found, press OK.
- Select Save channel.
- Key in the name of the channel and press OK. Select the location where you want to save the channel.
- Repeat steps 1 to 5 to save up to 10 channels.
Listen to preset radio channels
- When the radio is on, scroll the preset channels with up or down scroll keys.
- You can select a radio channel also by using the number keys.
- Adjust the volume using the volume keys.
- Press Options and select Switch off to turn off the radio.
Other functions
When the radio is on, press Options and select
- Manual tuning to move the channel search upwards or downwards, briefly press
or .
- Set frequency. If you know the frequency of the radio channel you would like to listen to (between 87.5 MHz and 108.0 MHz), key it in and press OK.
- Delete channel to delete a saved channel. Scroll to it, and press OK.
- Rename to key in a new name for the saved channel and press OK.
- Loudspeaker / Headset to listen to the radio using the loudspeaker (or headset). Keep the headset connected to the phone. The lead of the headset functions as the antenna of the radio.
- Clock radio to set the time when the radio will be turned on automatically with the current radio channel. The time can also be set under the Alarm clock menu.

Yes, you can. You can normally make a call or answer an incoming call while listening to the radio. The radio is muted during the call. When you end the call, the radio volume will automatically be turned up.
