Games
There are two games in your Nokia 1101 phone: Snake II and Space
Impact+. Each game comes with a brief help text. In standby mode,
press Menu and select Games.
Select a game and scroll the menu to select the instructions or to start
a new game. Once you've become a champion, it may be nice to check your
Top score, too.
Note that your phone must be switched on to use games. Do not switch
on the phone when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause
interference or danger.
Game settings
In the Games menu, select Settings.
You can set the sounds, lights and vibrations (Shakes)
for the game. Note that when Warning tones is set
to off, there may be no sound even if Game sounds
is on, and when Vibrating alert is off, the phone
does not vibrate even if Shakes is on.
Smileys
You can insert smileys
in your messages. When writing a message, press Options,
Insert options and Insert smiley.
With these you may be able to express something that words alone cannot
tell.
Chat
You can have a conversation with other people using Chat. Basically,
it is a text message service. Each chat message is sent as a separate
text message. The messages received and sent during a chat are not saved.
Messages are shown in sequence on the display.
To start a chat, press Menu, select Messages
and Chat, or select Options
and Chat when reading a received text message.
- Key in the other person’s phone number or search it from the contacts,
and press OK.
- Key in your nickname for the chat, and press OK.
- Key in your message, press Options, and select Send.
- The reply from the other person is displayed above the message
you sent. To reply to the message, press OK and repeat step
3 above.
When writing a message, you can press Options and select Chat
name to edit your nickname or Chat history to view the previous
messages. |
